This Privacy Policy applies to the websites (the Sites) managed by Business Engineering Network S.r.l. (BEN), a company headquartered in Milan, Italy, who act as controllers with respect to the personal data you share with BEN under this Policy.

BEN, as personal data controller and personal data processor, is committed to protecting and to processing your personal data you provide through the Sites in compliance with applicable current privacy and personal data protection legislation, and this Privacy Policy.

BEN reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to update this Privacy Policy from time to time and therefore invite you to review the current version of the Privacy Policy each time you return to our websites.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

BEN collect personal data from you such as your name, contact details, industry, region/country, the reason for contacting BEN, information about your project, topics you are interested in and any other information you choose to share.

By browsing our Sites or providing us with information, you explicitly consent to BEN processing your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. BEN might use your personal data to fulfill your request, send you marketing communications or process your job application.

BEN may collect personal data and may disclose such information to third party service providers in aggregate for marketing and promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to personally identify you.

You do not have to provide us with any personal data but, if you don’t, we may be unable to handle your request.

BEN will keep your personal data for as long as needed to handle your request or for as long as we have a relationship with you.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Data collection occurs when you request information and/or supply from BEN over the phone or through the Sites when you fill out a subscription form or inquiry form, opt-in to receive emails from BEN, agree to participate in surveys or apply for a role at BEN.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

BEN will not share or sell your data to any third party for their own use.

  • selected third party service providers, such as marketing service providers (if you have subscribed to our marketing communications) and IT systems providers, so that they can provide services to BEN
  • law enforcement authorities or other government bodies when we are required to do so.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
